Alyssa Lagana

Alyssa is a Landscape Designer who holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Criticism and Curatorial Practice from OCAD University. Alyssa first joined Quinn Design Associates as a Summer Intern in 2018 and 2019 during her studies at the University of Toronto. Since rejoining the firm in 2021, her unique perspective has enriched the firm's creative processes, through combining her strong design sensibilities with a pragmatic and organized approach to landscape design. She has worked on a number small-large scale residential, commercial, and institutional projects within The City of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
Alyssa is interested in how the challenges posed by urban conditions can inspire creative approaches to sustainable landscape design. She is committed to preserving and enhancing the ecological integrity of each project while crafting joyful spaces that are centered around social inclusivity and evoke a sense of place.
She remains deeply interested in art and design theory and enjoys exploring the intersections of these practices within landscape architecture and through her independent practice of painting and visual illustration.
