This major new facility consists of an Olympic-sized swimming pool and associated field house. Built for the 2015 Pan American Games, it now serves as a community centre and training centre for athletes.

As Landscape Architects for the project, Quinn Design Associates designed the streetscape and entrance plaza with generously-sized gathering areas and planting beds with a bold and graphic presence. An adjacent watercourse was realigned in conjunction with the creation of a stormwater management pond, all part of an environmentally-sensitive plan to prepare the site for this redevelopment.
